The Manduka Round Bolster is a lightweight, round bolster with a resilient, durable filling of 30% recycled fibers that provides soft cushioning and medium support.
Use of a round bolster
A round bolster gives the best support when creating curves in the body and deepens your stretch in backbends and side bends. A round bolster can be used in, for example, Fish Pose (Matsyasana), Hero Pose (Virasana) and Corpse Pose (Savasana).
Yoga Bolsters
Yoga bolsters are often used in Restorative yoga, Pregnancy yoga and Iyengar, but can be a valuable tool with any yoga style. They are very useful for postures related to meditation and rest.
Some yogis like to put them under their knees or back during Savasana for extra comfort. Using a bolster can be a comfortable way to open the chest and help you focus on your breathing.
