Traditional Zabuton Meditation Mat | Velvet | Sage

This traditional Japanese meditation mat (or zabuton) is equipped with a super soft velvet outer cover.

This wonderfully thick soft Love Generation meditation mat supports ankles and legs and is the ideal base for a warm, comfortable and relaxing meditation.

The mat is filled with the fluffy seeds of the cotton plant. These are incorporated into soft layers, which are put layer upon layer at right angles. This gives a resilient padding. The inner cover is folded around this and can be zipped open. The outer cover is easily removable and has a sturdy zipper over the entire length of the mat.

The mat is easy to fold or roll up, so you can also use it as a yoga bolster.

Use and Care

The cover is removable and machine washable at 40 degrees. The mat itself should be regularly shaken / whipped and aired in direct sunlight. Please make sure the mat itself is never exposed to moisture.

The meditation mat will be carefully packed after production, so it can happen that the mat arrives a bit wrinkled. Fortunately, the cover is easily removable and you can iron it at a low temperature.
